Costa Filho VO (2026). MetaVidence: no-code meta-analysis in the browser and in R. Version 0.1.0. https://metavidence.com
In BibTeX:
@Manual{metavidence,
title = {MetaVidence: no-code meta-analysis in the browser and in R},
author = {Valbert Oliveira Costa Filho},
year = {2026},

}Cite the analysis packages too
MetaVidence does not do the maths itself. It calls meta, metafor, netmeta and mada, and those packages implement the models. Cite the ones your analysis used, and record each version.
In R, citation("meta") gives the exact wording for each. Which ones apply depends on the module:
| Module | Packages behind it |
|---|---|
| Binary, continuous, pre-calculated, single-arm | meta, and metafor for meta-regression |
| Network meta-analysis | netmeta |
| Diagnostic test accuracy | mada, and meta for the forest plots |
